Dialogue between Garth and the dying intern:
"What's your name son?"
"Clive..."
"That's a strange name for an american."
"I'm from... *cough* Bermuda."
"Oh, that explains it, british principality."
"It's... actually a dependant territory..."
"What's that?"
"The queen appoints a governor charged with internal security and external defense, but she's still the de-facto sovereign."
"We had so much to teach each other..."

The power of concealment lies in revelation.
McCain has been completely transparent, providing all the documentation to prove his citizenship. Obama is not being so cooperative. He won't provide the documents to clear this up.fluffmonster wrote:subject to interpretation, McCain is not a natural born citizen of the United States either, having been born in the Panama Canal Zone.
BERG V OBAMA INFO October 13th interview with Philip J. Berg
The guy's a Democrat! He served as the deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania. Very interesting.

Doesnt mean im wrong. If this was such an important issue, why wasn't a suit filed 18 months ago when he put his hand up?Vaelahr wrote:Swift, you crack me up.
Suddenly you are 3 weeks from an election and he is killing McCain in the polls and a suit gets filed.
Desperation. Plain and simple. No matter what McCain and the republicans do, they can't land any damaging blows on the real issues (when they even have anything worth listening to on them), so as usual they resort to dirty underhanded tactics to try and undermine the democrats campaign. But hey, i guess thats the american way, if you cant win legitimately, cheat like hell instead.

Jebus, you can almost smell the panic now. If this thing had any truth to it you KNOW Hillary at the very least would have used it to clear the path to the Whitehouse.

I felt like a monster reincarnation of Horatio Alger. A man on the move... and just sick enough to be totally confident." -- Raoul Duke.

exactly. This is all just making excuses.
The fact is that the Republican party is at its lowest point in my lifetime, even lower than the Nixon impeachment. Over the last 8 years, the party forgot almost everything it stood for while it blindly followed a cult of personality in Bush, ignored its own principles in the name of partisan struggle, and became consumed by the politics of distraction and villification.
What have republicans done instead though? Blamed anything but themselves for their downfall. So much for a sense of personal responsibility. The democrats won't even have to do anything right to beat them.
