I was in Sendai on the 29th of May, just over 2 weeks before the earthquake hit. I wasn't as impressed with the city as I was supposed to be, and it rained all day. I think that's where I got my cold. As you might be able to tell from the date of the first post, it was also the place where I had my epiphany.
Can there be any more doubt?!

I have no control over it. It might be benign, or the whole south island might sink due to volcanic eruptions.
