What a fucking douchebag.

For real.
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

His lawyers worked out a sweet deal for him so I hope the Judge tosses the plea arrangement out on Monday. Vick bankrolled the whole operation, including buying the property yet was the only one who didn't take a dime from the profits? Like hell he didn't. The bets were upwards of $23,000 a fight so yeah, if I'm judge Judy I'm going to stick his feet to the fire.

I work with an animal rescue group and these kinda people should rot in jail and then burn in hell. And as a Director of Sport Media Relations I can tell you right now he'll never play another game in the NFL.

Oh, and for those who think there's no such thing as bad press... we're not talking about Mickey Mouse Celebs in La La land. He's done.

I'm only surprised that it took the NFL so long to actually respond to the allegations and condemn them even though it was pretty clear something was up.

The NFL couldn't do anything until Vick pleaded out or was convicted. Now that he admitted his guilt (very very limited all things considered) the NFL can now take action.

My money is on the judge throwing out the candy-ass plea agreement but either way Vick gets jail time (likely 18 months max) and his NFL suspension will only go into effect after that which is probably a year at least.

I'm a Raider's fan but I know even Al Davis wouldn't touch Vick if he's allowed back in the league about 3 years from now... if ever. And knowing how paranoid the NFL is over it's brand image I think Vick is done as a football player.

Preface: Vick was wrong of whatever it is he actually did. That much can't be argued.

Now: Next time someone, a person that is, is raped, abused, molested, tortured and/or killed, I wanna see threads just like this. I wanna see protests all over the place. It's just very unsettling to me how people die by the tens of thousands everyday, but where's the outcry for them? Where are all those livid folks at? Where's the protesters for New Orleans and other such places and victims?

A dog's an animal. And, I certainly value human life over a dog's. But we see a husband murder his wife and child and we say, "Oh, that's a shame." then flip the TV to our favorite program. These people kill animals and it's, "Oh my gawd! You barbarian! Die then burn in hell!

Controversy. K. Bye.
"You people have not given Private Pyle the proper motivation! So, from now on, when Private Pyle fucks up... I will not punish him. I will punish all of you! And the way I see it, ladies... you owe me for one jelly donut! Now, get on your faces!"

I dunno In00b, but there's some irony in your post to a gaming forum about said hypocrisy.

People do need to get outraged more about things like you say, Ina. We dont see enough people get up in arms about things anymore. We all just do as you said "say its a shame and turn the tv". This country has become more and more a shithole, but its not too late to turn it around.

Most people are just apathetic because they dont care and it dont affect them. Sorry way to be, but thats how our country and the world has degenerated.

Again, this all has to do with the monkeysphere. Because this Vicks guy is apparently some kind of celebrity, he is closer to being a human than people who die and kill all over the world, and so when he does something bad, it means more. Because I had no idea who he was, when I followed the link my mental response was, "oh, that wasn't very nice." and then moved on. Human nature innit.

There was more outrage over Chinese dogfood poisoning than our using white phosphorous in Iraq. Heck, most people don't even know we used it.

Like Nick said, it's all what has a face for you. Your pet has a face, celebrities have a face, death statistics do not.

I agree it was a shame the dogs were put down after they ended up rescuing them from the kennel. Some of the dogs were badly hurt and some just didnt have any owners come claim them from what I read.
