War Domain - greater magic weapon

This is just a notification to anyone choosing War Domain, or being enticed to choose it because Great Magic Weapon is available at Level 5 :

Not sure if whoever designed these perks knew this, but it is not possible for Greater Magic Weapon to work to +2 enchantment at Level 5. So, basically at level 5 this domain perk is totally useless because regular magic weapon does the same thing as a level 1 spell.

But, at Level 6 , the Greater Magic Weapon goes up to +2 enchantment. Then at 9/+3 , 12/+4 , 15/+5.

The way I see it, this domain benefit is only special at Level 6 because the cleric can cast the +2 enchantment one level earlier than he could without War domain.

So, just be aware. War Domain is not quite as good as it appears.

In Jed’d case , my oversight of this messed up the build I had in mind.

The plan was to switch over to Fighter once he hit Level 5 cleric and had access to +2 enchantments , and goal level up to 5 cleric / 4 fighter to reach weapon specialization .

Now, it seems like he’ll be going for level 7 cleric as the goal.
