Owing to his reputation and presence, Hudol enjoys a commanding advantage in any negotiation. For important negotiations, Hudol can be retained to act as an agent. Many of the merchants around Waterdeep give Hudol quite preferential treatment when it comes to the pricing of items for sale and/or purchase. Of course he will not participate in any negotiation on behalf of a character of questionable morality, nor handle any item which carries an evil enchantment upon it. Note that given how the deals may go, it is likely that the size of the transaction would need to be fairly large before retaining his service would make sense.
