A Land Far Away

Hey all -- wondering if anyone can help me out.

My hard drive crashed recently on my regular computer. I downloaded the Beamdog Client on a backup PC, logged in to my account and tried to install NWNEE on the backup computer. Install begins but then stops with download bar showing:

Dowloading : 4.36 Gigabytes @ 0 B/s

It just freezes there and won't finish the install

I tried Uninstalling the (part of) the game. Won't let me.

I tried Uninstall and reinstalling Beamdog Client. Same result

I tried closing everything and restarting my computer. Same result

I checked the Beamdog support pages. A number of people post the same issue but none of the issues have a posted solution.

FRUSTRATING!

A question: If I buy NWN EE on another platform besides Beamdog my current PC will be lost right?

I think.....and I maybe wrong.....if you buy NWN EE on any other client and make a Character named OGR.

Also if you have the Beamdog version, you also have the Steam Version

Step 1: Log in to your account on Beamdog.com using the Sign In option at the top of the page.

Step 2: Select My Account in the dropdown menu under your username.

Step 3: Navigate to the Game Keys tab and copy the 15 character key code next to Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition. Digital Deluxe owners will see additional Steam keys here, one each piece of DLC.

Step 4: open your Steam Client and select the Activate a Product on Steam option.

Thanks still. but boy does Steam take a long time to download!

Once you get it it’s totally worth it. Subscribing to portrait packs and overrides is amazing. And no more hak deletion with upgrades supposedly.

Can do, please create a char in your new file so I can find it easily.
