“Noseeums”

Anyone familiar with these? Aka “no see ums” , or a biting midge fly. Basically little mosquitoes you don’t see but give an irritating bite.
Anyway, sounds like a good slang or WD colloquial name for Dweomervores , since that’s just a pain to say (and type)
“My bottle of wine just got lifted by one o’ them No-see-ums!”
