POLL: Friday (tomorrow) night gaming

Post by Wild Wombat »

-
I really wanted to create a poll, but I guess it takes special permissions to do so. This is what my poll would be...

I apologize for my obsession with wanting to make a plan. I can't help it. I like to know what is going on!

Ayergo's DM presence is at the mercy of the unforgiving internet goddess of Bali.

Rick has planned for hosting a group raid on the lizardmen besieging Cromm's Hold on DF, but has said he will DM on Waterdeep if that is what we want.

So, let's make a decision ahead of time, please, so that we know, but more importantly, Rick knows and can prepare.

Where do you want to play, WD, DF or either? (Personally, I will play whereever there is a DM. I am a self-confessed DM whore. But some of you have said that you will not travel to another server.)

This poll ends at noon EST time Friday, April 13th.

Please select one
:

> I will only play on Waterdeep

> I will only play on Daggerford

> I will play on either

I suspect that the result will be that we stay on Waterdeep since I know that some of you do not believe in "comic book time travel". Obviously, I feel differently, lol.
Retired NWN1: Murgen Kjarnisteinn (AKA Grumpy Scout)

NWN2 (Failed Experiment): Muir Cheartach, AKA The Pale Faced Pie Man

R.I.P.: Croaker Lyosbarr, Knight of Yartar, Lord of Lhuvenhead (NWN1)

Would play either, but Daggerford would be my first choice.
If the enemy is an ass and a fool and a rating
coxcomb, is it meet, think you, that we should also,
look you, be an ass and a fool and a prating
coxcomb? in your own conscience, now?

Waterdeep is what makes more IC sense for Zylai’a. I won’t say she will never go to DF, but it will take some IC cajoling for sure.

I will not be taking her to DF simply to get in on a DMed session.
Talk less. Listen more.

Either.

Keryn has enough reason to trek to DF, but I've not had the time to attempt the trip solo, so not sure whether the caravan at the border would do the trick or not in terms of getting in on the action. I suspect it's in place by now though.
Currently laying the smackdown on Faerun as: Keryn Tel'Jora, who is XXX-TREME!!!.
Currently explaining the meaninglessness of it all as Vizian Nazyr.
Currently pointing out all other characters' shortcomings as Stephen the Archer.

Either.
I’ll choose depending on who goes where I suppose. :)
NWN1 PC:
Now (2017): Bran, naive servant of Lathander, currently thinking about opening a potion shop.
circa 2000: JenWa, proud mother duck and half-crazed sorceress of Shadowdale.

NW2 PC: Kasil Trueforger, dwarven scholar of Felbarr.

Garlus Ironbeard: [d] I was sure there was a reason we brought you along.
Kevorn Trueforger: [d] I'm da funny one and ye're da smart one.

Christen the caravel and sail her to Daggerford.

I’m leaning towards a sail on Jack’s ship to DF, but I’ll stay at the Company as long as I need to, to make sure people get their stuff.

If I’m too late to join in on the DF plots, I wouldn’t mind a trip to the Crypt or to look for Goblin holds, depending on who’s around.
Character arcs are sharp, pointy little things. A little blood may spill!

Now Playing: Luva Si'nede, Olivus Angustian
Past Characters: Valyar Floshin, Sarenna Irithyl, Millicent Riverstone, Dev Revels, Catarina Helms, Fenris Estelmer, Arryn Temple, Penrose Hawke, Kara Ravensfell, Arana Belecthor

Caravan teleportation all over the server. Double xp for most kills. A merchant who pays full price for anything and everything. Very tempting.

But my current character's story has him in Waterdeep.

Big thanks to Rick for stepping up on this!
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

Well, of course it works out to a tie or close to it.

- There is nobody that will not play on Waterdeep (how could there be since that is where we play on Fridays?)

- Most say either, with a healthy majority preferring Daggerford.

- But not everybody will go to DF, for IC reasons.

I suggest that we kidnap the PCs that do not want to go and take them to DF at sword point. 8)

So much for making a decision ahead of time. :wall:

Val/Bran has suggested that if it is a large group we should split into two parties anyway. If that is the case, Murgen will be be in the group going to DF, I guess.
