I can't play now ... Anyone else get this error message and can't play ?

I'd appreciate advice how to fix please , I'm no tech person.

I’d reinstall the haks. If that didn’t work, I’d download them again.

make sure that when you unzipped it that it didn't go to its own folder nested inside the hak folder.

Is there something new? I did not see anything about new stuff that needs downloaded.

Yup! There are several posts about it here. I had to do a major revision to fix a lot of issues, also added a ton of content.

Download this, extract it to the hak folder of the game directory:

I actually extracted it correctly on my first try, a feat for me

I extracted into the NWN2 hak folder and cursed and spit at the computer for failing me for 20 minutes before I realized my fault.

Then I spent 10 more minutes spitting at the computer trying to find the NWN1 hak folder until I realized it's inside the GoG folder.
