So here is the thread for the Total Planning Kommittee

Since there was a -wee- accident in the sewers, a place to discuss what class and race you're leaning towards, and talk shared backgrounds if that interests you - For new pc's.

I hate you all.

(j/k. not a desired outcome certainly, but ... this is what we do. We just gotta do it better.)

So anyhow...

Surviving pcs classes include...

Barbarian (If Kree doesn't retire)
Bard (a few multi-class)
Cleric (Toliv)
Fighter (1?)
Monk (1)
Ranger (a couple?)
Rogue (a few multi-class)
Sorcerer (1)
Wizard (a few multi-class)

Looking at the mix of more active players though, we are probably short on tank types, and divine types now.

Count me out. Playing Diablo3. Will be weeks to get it out of my system. Work starting again tomorrow also. Might even hit WoW next if the rotation keeps going as it usually does.

As I stated on Discord, to all the people pestering me because, supposedly, I'm likeable for once in an ALFAn life-time...

I will reinstall and come back, under the assumption that those who died and some who offered to retire and start a-new (Stormbringer), if we worked on a background for a group to all be arriving at once together, with some form of unity not only in class balance, but in either religion, hometown, profession or whatever.

I'll roll a Cleric (yes, this means Davion will be retired, not that he's being played) for the group. If it's religion-based, I'm tempted to do a Red Knight crew (and those allied with the Red Knight), but I will openly do anything. Hometown, I don't have a big knowledge on anything, so that's up to others. Professions, I'm often partial to a traveling troupe/performers, even without Bards, but I'll work with anything.

So yes, my demands are to not only plan out a group, but actually have a baseline of RP formed so we aren't introducing ourselves over several sessions while ALSO having a reason to all be showing up at the same time. We aren't all writing the same biography, but we would know one another.

If this isn't good for you, then let me know.

It works for me. I'm leaning towards a paladin - though not red knight.

Since there are Tiamatans running rampant, how about a crew of Bahamut-worshippers?

I can go with this.

Well consider this my Retirement Party!

Kree goes into rage and storm the sewers to never be seen again!

Also hoping Ayergo could do something with that. That being said!

I was thinking Rogue or maybe Hin Rogue. She could dance and slit your throats.. I mean pockets without anyone noticing..

Playing the Low INT just plain got old..

Rumple was considering a Paladin. I'd be doing a Cleric. I recall Mick planning to do something along either of those two (which doubling up on either isn't a bad idea).

As I told other people, just because you'd be a Bahamut Worshipper, doesn't mean you're a LG character - unless you're a Paladin or Priest. He hates EVIL, and his worshippers are often just people wishing to be protected FROM evil dragons. It can work, and it gives us a tie in with the crazy cross-server DM plot of doom.

The question now, is if we do Bahamut, if we're all brought here via a mission/pilgrimage or if we think we should have a tie elsewhere?

Twilight actually survived the evening, albeit barely. Will be sticking with her for now.

I would be interested in seeing what background suggestions the dm team might have.

We've been spit-balling on Discord. Bahamut is workable, since it's not something that locks you into Good-only (unless you're devout), and it is against injustice (corrupt Watch), oppressors (Thayans) and pure evil (Tiamat Cultists). It's just a matter of figuring out what started and brought us to Waterdeep, then we can figure out our own backgrounds, flaws, traits, etc.

Well I guess Micks out for now..

So Bahamut worshippers from where? Where did we meet? DF? BG? NC?

We traveled to WD because of all the Taimat worshipping going on.. I vote Sembia.. individually we can be from anywhere.. we just have to decide on where we met up at.

Human Rogue Will work up a Bio for Ayergo when we all decide where we met and such.
