I know there is a pending rescue raid coming tonight, or this weekend. I will not be able to play due to various events . . . old friend in from L.A. tonight and all weekend, also a golf outing tomorrow, and a wedding Saturday night, and of course GoT finale sunday night.

Here is something IC to explain why he will not be around:

Kalomar Antarus's older brother Karoman "Karo" Antarus has been slain and butchered by gnolls somewhere in the wilds near Daggerford. Kalo went to his final rites burial.

Karoman was a ranger (level eight) , who was a skilled swordsman in his own right, dual wielding a bastard sword and main gauche dagger. He was scouting for a merchant caravan and went missing. His severed head was found impaled on a serrated pike most gruesomely, a tell tale sign of gnoll butchery. The rest of Karo's body and remains, as well as his weapons and gear were never found.
