A Land Far Away

Hello!

Most players may have met Aius'tha (a.k.a. Ai) in-game, each interacting with her in several different ways. Some have spoken in the Elvish tongue, others have used motions/actions and some even attempt to teach the Common tongue -- often to the chagrin of themselves and others around them. I document in her in-game journal words that she has found association with through interacting with the many PCs in-game, and I felt like I would share it because I find some of the results rather interesting.

Each word will have a three step process:
1. The word itself
2. Who taught her the word
3. The meaning she learned from it.

In some cases, you may find it enjoyable or even laugh-worthy. In other cases, you may be shocked to know what you have taught her or how she has taken your word and possibly twisted it. The most important thing to understand is, unless stated in 'Information To Be Shared' or 'Waterdeep Tavern Tales & Rumors', you have no way of knowing this information outside of interaction with her.

If you feel like the temptation to meta will be too much, do not read past this first post. I will have everything after the word in a spoiler tag, so that if you truly wish to take a peek, you can spoil yourself -- otherwise, happy RPing!

Common(language) Words Learned by Aius'tha
As of August 26th, 2017, Aius'tha has been able to understand that to form actual conversations, "to," "was," "want," "we," "us, "am," and other pronounces and simple verbs are necessary; however, she still doesn't know how to use them properly.

Bwhahahaha! This is too funny. I should have spent more time teaching her words at the tavern.

Yeesh. Keeping up with this is rough. Ai may be able to form some sentences soon, although they will be crude as hell. I've updated what I can by editing the main post, spoiler tags for those who don't want to know, of course. There are some I wrote into my journal as knowing but I do not remember who to give credit to.

Some of them are just from hearing the group use the word constantly and starting to piece it together (whenever you see me roll a Wisdom Modifier d20, that is an attempt to put pieces together... I normally roll a 1, so rarely happens).
