A sticky thread keeps it a the TOP of the list for ease of finding.
However, since I use the Quick links above left to just look at active or unread threads it rarely matters to me if its sticky or not

It's pretty obvious, important but sometimes not often used threads won't get lost in the sea of dead threads below. For instance I found the "DM and Player Props" thread pretty far down the list. I dunno, ......every other forum i've ever seen/used has stickies, and personally is important to me. Can't hurt and imo can only help.
I unfortunately don't have the ability to sticky still.
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

I thought that a Sticky could only be created on thread creation . . there is an option at the bottom of the area where you are writing the post to click
as a forum moderator I have tried to sticky some of the threads but to no avail . . . . you are listed as forum moderator as well and should be able to do so

That said, I'm scared to do anything as my PC is a Wizard. Fires seem sparse, component quests after the first seem unavailable and I'm told to not go out for half the game time due to thugs.
It's like I'm back in '03/'04. Feels weird.

Odd, the fires seem almost commonplace to me. Of course, that may only be because I cannot take advantage of them. Thugs are not present everywhere and most of the named streets in the city are patrolled and are usually safe. Usually.

First area of rat hills has a few. If you are clever, use a ranged weapon, and don't poke your nose in rats nests you shouldn't have much problem.

Nothing there for me either, some options to lock and a few others but no sticky.

Try to get in on some of the plots going on. The experience gets so much better once your pc has a stake in what's going on. It also gives the pc motivation to ask questions, or go exploring or... whatever
The pc information thread sums up pretty well the known stuff going on, and it sounds like Rick is recruiting for the watch, so that could be another way to party up and crack some thug heads in a party.
I saw you on last night but was too busy to get you with the group. I will try and get stuff going for your PC next time I see him. Definitley need a wizard.
So the Watch has a very important job for a mage. It involves some risk so an escort is recommended. Check with the Watch desk in the Adventurers Quarter (when I am on which is usually EST evenings)
