Ramirez is a tall and well groomed elderly gentleman. He would appear to be at least over fifty years old. He has a thick and highly graying mustache only slightly twirled at the ends - a habit he can't shake when in deep thought.
He wears the tailored vestments of Kelemvor, a gray hood, a fine quality cloak, belt and boots. Around his neck hangs a silver symbol of a skeletal arm holding up a scale, Kelemvor's symbol of judgement of the dead. In his hands he is often seen holding a bone smoking pipe on the left and on the right a tested quarterstaff and walking stick. Under his left arm hanging in a custom made leather strapped book holder contraption is a very thick black leather bound spellbook. He also loosely carries a travel ready backpack full of adventuring equipment and writing/inscribing gear.
At his side often is his until death loyal servant and arcanical companion 'Arcalas'. Arcalas is a over-sized guard dog with similar visual traits as would be seen on your common doberman pincer except his extreme size, glowing red eyes, and the occasional fire breathing. Arcalas is beyond the definition of loyal. He is difficult to get close to, but his loyalty and protection over Ramirez' companions once trust is gained is unequaled save that towards Ramirez himself.
