I plan on DMing in WD / since I have been working on the mod

i may put out some feelers then to see if i can scrounge up some players.

Does connecting work the same as with the nwn2 servers? If not, what do we need to do to play on the server?

This greatly intrigues me.

you need the NWN1 game and you direct connect similar to the way you connect in NWN2 you all so will need the nwn1 haks

Interest is here. My comp has been back up for the past two weeks, nwn1 already re-installed. I will need to do the haks one day this week, but def. interested! (I never got to experience wd server, so it'll be a wonderful treat!)

you will need to grab the haks, link in the nwn2 discussion forum...please post if you can get into the module. I want to iron out any connection/hak issues soon.

Anyone in ALFA can DM here...it's an open format. You can level your player's toons to whatever is appropriate for what you are running, there's pretty much no rules on DMs except the general community guidelines (e.g. no harassment etc.)/

For those wanting to DM on WD - I can give you a short refresher course on DM tools and a basic tour of whats what in Waterdeep and surrounding area as well as how to decipher the Chooser

For those wanting to play in WD - I will be around on Thursday & friday nights PST and other times as I can.... been working on some good old fashion Dungeon crawls for 1st - 3rd levels before plunging into something deeper.

WD may still have some bugs and a few things missing here and there if you are poking around and find something wrong let me know. Can't fix it if I don't know its broke.

I was hoping someone could help. I downloaded and installed the haks in the "most recent haks folder" and put the 1.8 tlk file in a tlk folder and all seemed well, but I got a message saying I was missing the required hak ahp_3.01. I didn't see that one in the hakpack list though. Is there somewhere else I should go to get that one?

P.S. Arianna, I'd be interested in getting a copy of all the old alfa haks you have in your possession. If such a thing is possible, let me know and I'll pm you an email. Thanks in advance!

You might have to check with Arianna, as I don't see it on the downloads. Arianna's link has an .rar file which you should check. I can't unzip it from this machine and check myself unfortunately.

As soon as I can get Castano to post the latest mod you should be able to log in Forgot I had tried using the 3.01 hack to see if it contained somethings that were missing from my pallet ... it doesn't its all duplicates of one of the others.


and I have a number of the old haks alot of the 2.0 -2.9 ones
