What party do you all think we'd need for a successful trip to the Cache ( meaning able to reach the merchant ) ?
I mean at minimum who should be present. . .

Also , is this place confirmed to sell +3 weapons ? Because if not, Kalo doesn't really have a reason venturing to such a perilous place.

No one that I know of has found this rumored Merchant, and it may not be just a matter of distance, but also the right direction.

Rumor has it though, there does exist a +3 Merchant in the Cache somewhere

As for What Party?

I would say you do not want anyone seventh or lower.
You will want...

Death Wardings.
A scout who can spot Crocs.
A pair of Tanks who can toe to toe with Crocs.
A Caster with a water focus summons.
Healer, or failing that a Wand Healer, and surgeons for between fights.

The more in the party the more they spawn as well so a smallish party of 6-7 peeps would be ideal

For the lower levels...

Shalheira would like to find a pack of wolves, or more preferably a lone wolf, to speak with and prepare a ritual with. This would involve checking out some of the safer areas of the Westwood. From there, I've heard suggestions of Upper Sewers and Yintros (no idea what that is), but it would be cool to have a group to help my PC do this act while also having a follow up for the rest of the folks.

Level 1 of Yintros is a lot of fun for a lower level group. Do NOT go to level 2. Bring lots of elemental pots.

I would love to try the Cache again at some point. I agree with the assessments so far and will add that you need as many summons as possible and many potions of waterbreathing and swimming buffs or gear.
