What even transpired Friday night? Very foggy memory. . . Went to a little grand opening party before, and then was at a cask house where the proprietor was letting me sample all his brews. Head was swimming... All I know is Kalo has some imp horns he should pass on to the group.

Re: May gaming and updates!
You played a very convincing drunken master swordsman while you were in your own cups, Sci.
If the imp horns can make it back to the Company shelf in the lab I know some brewers that would be grateful. The funniest part for me on hearing of your party is that Kalo took Arryn’s bag of assorted ales and wouldn’t give it back. I wonder who drank more, the player or the puppet. Hehe art imitating life indeed!

Re: May gaming and updates!
I don't think Kalo was there for Friday as far as I recall. There was however a dungeon crawl that we did the other night to Bloody Hand that went pretty well.Akivaria wrote:The stupid dragons robbed everyone again, and then we hung out and chatted about it.SCI-kick wrote:What even transpired Friday night? Riveting stuff.
As far as chatting about the stupid dragons, some discoveries were made! Most notably that high CHA seems to help significantly in warding off their effects.
Additionally, see invisibility isn't enough on its own. They still like to hide in conventional ways as well, so careful searching is required! (If you don't know, in engine you get a bonus for standing still and/or carrying a light source). Also some theories that they can be flushed out with things like alchemists fire.
Finally the group helped out a warehouse owner with a stupid dragon problem, only to discover he also had a stupid snake and stupid lizardman problem as well! It is theorized there may be a connection between the various stupid scaly critters.
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind
Re: May gaming and updates!
I just realized Kalo has a pack full of Arryn's beers
Re: May gaming and updates!
Kalo went with Keryn, Marisha and Arryn to the Magistars house to collect a few imp horns
After the fighting he started wandering around and seeming disoriented . . .. and talking about the dark river
Marisha guided him back to the Company where he went to sleep it off

Re: May gaming and updates!
Arryn’s bag of ales can go on the bookshelf in the front room Sci, when you get a chance. If there are any left.
My solo PGing is way down since the arrival of the dweomervores so in the interest of making it to level 8, I’m doing what I likely should have done a long time ago. I’m advertising! As valn is fond of saying, D&D is not supposed to be a solo game.
Adventuring buddies...they’re like potions, only better!
Arryn's role with the Company is monster parts collecting and annoying Keryn. I can handle the annoying part on my own but if you’d like to help me gather up some goblin ears, green clw’s and fire beetle bellies I’d be grateful!
Folks who can heal, buff, spot sneaky dweomervores or carry potions for me while looking gorgeous are especially desired! Who knows, we may even rp and work a storyline or two.
During the week I try to play 10-12 EST. If that time slot works for you, then we should hang out and adventure, don’t you think? I do. Arryn will either be in the Company reorganizing shelves or sitting in the Haven dreaming of being a big boy hero someday. Look him up!
Cheers, Peter

Even on weeknights that I can play, I need to lolg off by 9:45PM! But, regardless of incompatible playing hours...Peter_Abelard wrote: During the week I try to play 10-12 EST.

... Yes, if they are not using their invisibility, Murgen has a chance to spot them. However, otherwise Murgen is pretty useless against these creatures except as bait. He went hunting them on Saturday and found out that they own him. They spot him, steal from him at will and when they get pissed off because all he is carrying is water and ale they attack him and knock him down repeatedly, forcing him to run for his life.

I practiced hunting them today with my rogue build and did all right. Try using eagle splendor to lessen their chances of stealing. Also if your spot beats their PP they go hostile, so upping that can help too.Wild Wombat wrote:Even on weeknights that I can play, I need to lolg off by 9:45PM! Something tells me Arryn’s going to be practising looking at stuff more carefully in the hopes of being a better spotter. If only ogling attractive bards gave him a spot bonus, he’d be set.

I'd love to help you out with my lovely pure bard song, but Alora can't afford to keep getting robbed everywhere she goes, so I'll be making myself a bit scarce until the dragon plot wraps up. Please try not to get yourself killed again.Peter_Abelard wrote:Something tells me Arryn’s going to be practising looking at stuff more carefully in the hopes of being a better spotter. Re: May gaming and updates!
I'd think a bard would have a high Charisma, but I might be wrong.
NWN1 PC:
Now (2017): Bran, naive servant of Lathander, currently thinking about opening a potion shop.
circa 2000: JenWa, proud mother duck and half-crazed sorceress of Shadowdale.
NW2 PC: Kasil Trueforger, dwarven scholar of Felbarr.
Garlus Ironbeard: [d] I was sure there was a reason we brought you along.
Kevorn Trueforger: [d] I'm da funny one and ye're da smart one.

Jack and wayfarer tested it out. Results? Jack successfully robbed zero times. Wayfarer like 4 times.Akivaria wrote:That doesn't matter much, in my experience.valn99 wrote:I'd think a bard would have a high Charisma, but I might be wrong.
