None of the items appeared useful to Twilight and all had been claimed by the time she returned from the jeweler anyway.

I am not sure I was there to hear where Ponlin's place is, but I did get a key at some point.

It was Darrow. I remember because people IC and OOC were getting flustered with the loot distribution and Darrow basically pulled a "FOR CRYING OUT LOUD I'LL GET THIS DONE SO WE CAN BE DONE!" moment.

Can Twilight get a copy of that key made at "The Golden Lock"?

We had a little accident with the last key taken from the goblin priest when pc's got killed/captured.

The last loot division was horribly painful, especially with so many pcs. My OOC suggestion is that there is a party leader (Marisha, Jackman?) who will distribute any items based on usefulness to the character (eg shields to the front line, healing potions to those who cant heal themselves, protection to the unarmored, gauntlets to brawlers, arrows to the archers, scrolls to the casters), and no pc should lose their share of gold based on that. Leader decision is final. The (ic) thought should be that we are a team, and that useful items within the group helps everyone.

(This does assume that items are going to pcs who are party regulars, not passing through mercenaries)

This. Even if it IS slightly OOC (although we can make it IC), there is a lot of "Oh no, you take it!" amongst PCs when we all know we'd like to get a nice reward at the end of the day (or be alive at the end of the day). This made dividing the loot fairly painful OOC and IC, and a lot of confusion as to who has what and what was sold is still going on, hence this thread!

You are correct. You should inquire with PCs involved in the slaying of the Slavemasters.

To get this back on topic - That I remember, there was a +2 whip, +1 Bracers, Silver LS, and a share of 2K in gems. Who walked out of the room with the items, and is the Gnome holding the shares from the gems for those that had to log?

+2 Whip with amazing secondary ability on Hit 25% chance of 3/rd Daze --- no idea who took it or where it went, but if it was sold, someone got a nice payday

+1 Bracers: Toliv waited and waited, no takers, so he placed his own +1 DEX bracers on the floor (more valuable) and took the bracers

Silver LS: I asked 4 times IC who took it, or if it was sold, if it WAS sold, that's too bad, Toliv would have paid the value it got from a vendor and kept it, otherwise I don't know where it is/went

2K gold (from gems): Darrow distributed to who was there when Twilight brought the gold back and laid it on the floor

RL happens. I had a friend's bday to get to, and couldn't delay any longer. I think at least one other also needed to drop. We'd been online since 5PM trying to get everyone ready to head down. After 4 hours, adding another hour of IC banter over the loot was great for those that could attend. I seriously hope the extra 10-12K in items wasn't pocketed IC because some of us logged off OOC

Y'all remember I made this suggestion (that we have a person appointed for this) at the time. In character. I suggested Darrow for Quartermaster since he was the one who stepped up and did the job anyway. The response was ... uh ... Well there was no real response until I passed on the suggestion that we pool some of the coin for future expenses. Then people (Toliv mostly) poo-poo'd the idea.

So yeah, our crew should have a quartermaster.

IC-wise, if my PC even lives, it doesn't matter who is 'Quartermaster'. General shouldn't be a Scout though - someone has to be barking orders, that's the General's job.

OOC-wise, I feel like the 'Quartermaster' should be someone who is fairly active, so they can catch people on off-days. Vendrin seems to be pretty busy, or at least seems to be rare, on non-event days, so if he does have left over gold to give to PCs, this would be why people are rather confused as to what is missing. No clue who would fit the bill both OOC as being active and IC as being an able-body 'Quartermaster'.

1/4 master doesn't need to be on all the time, s/he just needs to sort stuff out on game day. Other players could pass out the goodies.

Going to need to get some leadership cemented in with so many players turning up to events. Otherwise - chaos-.
