I looked back at myself, the reflection of the mirror I was posing in front of. I was wearing a bright green dress that I had picked up at the tailor back in the Gate... A sleeveless dress, that was much too large for my petite frame... The dress draped down, and ended just above my ankles. Perhaps I should've bought that yellow summer dress instead. My hands were tightly knotted together, and my arms drooped down in front of me. I studied myself in the mirror, biting my lower lip, watching the blush on my cheeks grow more and more prevalent. My arms and legs were trembling terribly so, my hair was done into a meticulous bun. There was a flower stuck in the middle of the messy bun, a flower I found in the middle of the field outside. I forced myself to curl my lips into a small smirk as I continued eyeing my apperance. Gods, was I really this pale? Were my eyes really that blue? Were they really that big?
I paced around the room aimlessly, until I finally found what I was looking. A silver plate, and an empty tea cup. I placed the cup on the plate, and with one hand, placed the plate on top of my palm, and with my other hand, on my hip. I strutted from one side of the room to the other, doing my best to balance the silver plate on my hand. This was the first time I ever wore heels before, and they certainly were an experience! I stumbled not once, not twice, but three times through my struttings back and forth . Suddenly, in the middle of my excercises, the door sprung open.
"Eep!" I shrieked, jumped in my place, and dropped the silver plate and the tea cup. The cup shattered into countless of pieces, and the clank of the silver plate echoed throughout the room. I immediately dashed to a nearby broom, back to the shattered cup, and began sweeping furiously.
"I'msorry!Itwasamistake!Itwon'thappenagain!~" Flustered, I spoke quickly, blubbering nonsense.
The person that opened the door was one of the Selunite guards of the temple I was staying in. She was clad in steel armor, and crossed her arms, standing in front of me, smirking to herself as she watched me clean the mess I made. She let out a soft chuckle, and shaked her head. When she spoke, her tone was gentle and warming.
"...Hehe, just checking on you, missy." She chuckled again, and waved off as she let herself out, closing the door shut.
...I murmured something to myself, taking care of the shattered tea cup. Then, I walked back to the mirror, inspecting my appearance once more. I smoothed the creases on my dress with my hands, and un tied the bun I was fashioning, letting my brown hair flow down to my shoulders. My hair smelled of peaches, I had the Selunites to thank for that, who let me wash my hair in their quarters... This is the first time I've washed my hair since I left home. I fixed my hair with my fingers, and looked at myself in the mirror again. My cheeks were still rosy, though a small smirk lingered on my face.
I cleared my throat, and looked wide eyed at my reflection.
"...May I take your order, miss?"

((I'm bad at drawing I know ;_;))
