Goblin forces have been harassing Caftenor from the west.
the goblins have been attacking guards staring fires and killing livestock
before retreating back into the mountain passes and setting up ambushes.

Halfling-human relations continue to deteriorate in the outer Cantrevs.

Word has it that the Koart guard fired at a halfling female fleeing the village by swimming across the stream. Having been hit by a number of arrows she only survived the trigger-happy attack by being rescued by a giant bear, nor reincarnate to flesh after having stood as a stone statue for at least 2 rides.

The Lord Of Koart is said to be quite concerned for his safety, expecting halfling attempts upon his life at any time.

a few earthquakes shook Gwynneth isle lately.

Other than one that took down a shack at Darkhorn village
most tremors were fairly unnoticeable.

Rumors spread among common folk to the cause of the tremors.
some claim the dwarf of High Home have been digging to deep,
other calim the people of the isle have angered the earthmother,
while others expalin it is merely a natural occurrence.

Night-watchmen stationed on the east gate watchtower of Corwell town spoke idly of an unusual sighting during their duty shift. They heard the beast first; a rhythmic, muffled thudding of heavy paws and a laboured grunting. Then under the de-saturated light of the high moon they soon caught a glimpse of it; a very large, shaggy-looking Brown Bear loping along at full tilt with what appeared to be the tattered and limp remains of its unfortunate prey tangled on one side of its jowly maw. The sighting was noted in the watch log as being last seen heading toward the Corwell Grove, with it’s likely destination being the wooded foothills of the Highlands beyond. No further action was taken.

A merchant caravel crashed along the central sea of the Moonshaes bearing only crates of Professor Cocklebur Stainsilaus's Amazing Hair Recolorant and Repairant.

Oddly enough as crates drift to shore, Saughain, Kolbolds, Golbins, and Pirates are suddenly sporting more colorful hair arrangements and skins as well as using it to dye their leathers.

In the villages Northman and Ffolk teenagers are scouring the beaches in hopes to do something horrible and unnatural to their hair and annoy their parents and elders.

The re-cobbling of the King's Road is nearly completed...after being taken apart to build fortifications inthe last war, over a generation ago, the ever efficient Moonshaes government has finally gotten around to re-cobbling it.

In the earliest candlehours of a new day at Lowhill, terrors from below struck at the Harvest-tide preparations. Foreshadowed by the slightest of earth tremors, the ground parted and belched forth a mob of monstrously swollen chitinous denizens of the depths. Lowhill’s guard sallied to the stricken shrieks of the harvestfolk whereupon the invaders were beaten down but not without cost among the kin.

A blonde haired Hin woman, one of the aforementioned spooked harvestfolk, was seen on all fours, twisting and pressing an ear onto the flat of a large stone at the edge of the wound in the ground: “I can ney tell sure as stones be stone, yet sommat be on the shift downbelow…”

In the last few days, travelling merchants have heard similar stories from many of the Cantrevs on Southern Gwyeneth Island. Apparently, a young woman adorned in silver and gold armor with red trim sporting a vicious looking axe and a shield with the device of the Foehammer on it traveled to several places throughout the southern island. Depending on where the story originates, the stories speak of battles against kolbold highwaymen, vast numbers of undead, and even an apparent horde of orcs of unknown number as well as creatures made of stone and earth as far away as Moray Island.

There are obviously many people who simply dismiss the stories, saying such things cannot be actions of only a single person. There must have been many such people and the stories are just getting confused. But there are also those that swear they saw the young woman with resplendant armor, raven-black hair, and determined blue eyes go into various wildernesses and return without apparent injury and doused with gore. In these places, woodsmen and hunters report, bodies of bandits and undead were spread about as food for the carrion eaters as if someone had simply come and cut a swath through the country side.

A firbolg appears on the edge of Cantrev Koart bellowing curses. It holds up a severed head, drop-kicking it across the fields and over the moat to land splat in the middle of Koart Village...children run screaming from the grisly sight.

The head appears to be from one called Aknar, who was recently seen in the villages along the Kings Road...stuffed in its mouth is a crudely written note which reads:

HOOMANS LOSE...FIRBOLG WIN!
FENS BE OURS SOON ALL ISLE OURS!

The locals wonder if a hero will step forth and assemble a party to deal with the evil twisted creatures.

Apparantly there was some commotion in Koart.

As a group of adventurers gathered in the Cantrev commons, answering the call to venture into the fens, a halfling came forth loudly accusing Lord Koart of atrocities against halflings and emploring all to let his pleas for aid fall upon deaf ears until apologies and reparations were made for his torturing of innocent hin folk.

Local guards made attempts to arrest the halfling, but he slipped over the low wall and away into the night.

The bashed and butchered bodies of three purple worms lay open in the woods north of Castle Darkmoor, amongst the scattered pits created by their movement. The bodies have been stripped of their most valuable parts, leaving only the grand quantities of meat for the forest to reclaim.

Rumour has it that the King of the Brownies has claimed an esoteric gnomish sorceress as his betrothed. It's alleged that she was so enamoured with royal fey she abandoned her newly wed husband on their wedding night and fled to the Myrloch Vale to live in his mushroom castle forevermore!

An attempt was made on Lord Dultann life!

The village that is suffering many zombie attack lately for an unknown reason
suffers anothe attack.

after another night of fighting the horde of undead in which the a few guards fell
and the Lord himself who put down many a zombie and was wounded and touched
by undead sickness, the vile attempt was made.

after the battle was won the Lord returnted to his tower to rest.
a short time later a dark cald hin probably the same one who was seen wandering the viilage and talking a pair of druid snuck to the lords room probably through the window
and tryed to slit the Lord throat. luckly the Lord managed somehow
to move as the blade hit him, and though he suffered a nasty cut chased the hin away.
the hin leaped out of the second floor windon and in to the river.
dogs and trackers gave chase in to the myrloch vale but the hins tracks were lost.

this in another attack in a line of odd hin activities against the tall folk of the Moonshaes. any who holds information about said attack or the hin group that leads them is asked to come to the authorities in any of the villages cantravs or towns
of Gwynneth.
