Fashionably late by two days once again, this thread shall serve for self-nominations for the position of Player Admin, Aug 2023 - Jul 2024.

PA is in charge of "Applications, Guilds, ALFA Player’s Manual, ALFA Representatives, Player Discipline, and Player Acceptance." All ALFAns in good standing can self-nominate.

Self-nominations shall run for seven days from here (unless I'm late again), followed by voting for four days. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

This year I cleared out the roster of players who had bypassed the application process and made sure that won't happen again. I also changed the rule for applications that requires players to be level 2 before having their applications considered for acceptance.

This is a twofold benefit: Once players get to level 2 they have had time to consider whether they want to play here. It also reduces the workload on the PA (we used to get about four applications a month and I'd spend a couple hours on each one).

If anyone else wants the post feel free to hop in and we can have a respectful discussion to allow folks to decide who they'd prefer.
