Playing on a MAC now and into ALFA's future

So Mrs_dergon wants my next laptop to be a Macbook. I've always had PCs both at work and for personal use.

But we also both have iPhones, an iPad, and my wife has an apple laptop.

What I am concerned about in this post is how a decision to buy a Mac might effect my ALFA gaming.

On NWN1 platform? On NWN2? And on the future potential Shards?

I am not at all technically savvy (am more comfortable with hex paper and pencil) and need very simple solutions and answers ...

thanks!

For Current NWN1 & 2

I think its possible

But at the very least you might have to get either the MAC version or another piece of software that it runs though

NWN3

I have no clue

If it goes like most games it will be a year or two before the Mac version is available if at all

NWN1 will get the enhanced edition soon, hopefully Beamdog will create a Mac port.
You can run both games in a VM (Parallels), performance should be reasonable.

You can dual boot Windows. You can boot the thing up in Windows and run anything as normal.

Youll have to purchase a Windows license and partition your harddrive, etc. etc. but its easy enough.
