Forgotten Realms heroes - Ral Partha

Post by Rumple C »

So...

I ended up with a large pile of miniatures over the years, many dating back to the 80's. For your viewing pleasure (and since i'm photographing for sale), I have unearthed some of the Forgotten Realms heroes as done by Ral Partha back in the 80's.

The guy had a thing for not using any straight lines it seems? All the swords/staves look like heated taffy, what's that about? Or was that done to them by a young Rumple who found malleable lead irresistible? :)

They're just bent. Can be rebent back into shape. But bending weakens so... I leave them until ready to mail off.

Drizzt and co. look pretty decent, but I must ask this, why is the Drow's face chalky and pale, oh Rumple? I shall not be able to rest easy until I hear the story/reason behind this.

Also I think you should paint some hair stubble on harlot Elminster's bared leg. Only then will you have a collection to be truly proud of.

No joke. Ebay tells me i wont be able to retire on what they're worth, and if you'll give them a good home, that's good enough for me.
