I paint for you!

So I want more subjects for drawings and paintings. I don't want to just depict my own characters all the time, so I'm inviting anyone who so wishes to here post a description of a memorable moment in Alfa, including descriptions of characters and environment, plus a screenshot if you have one. I'll put the pictures up in the Library when done. Just to be clear, I'm not asking for any money for this, just inspiration for more pictures.

Could you provide some more details? Who was "et Co"? Why was the cow exploding? What time of day?

That's a picture that couldn't be improved on!

Castano's was a grueling fight held at the exterior of Tempus' Tears while waves of undead attacked the village all night. I recall that Drake Veneshuel was there, and I believe DarkMystic's Banedwarf? I want to say a couple of the other Swedes had characters there too.
This was half of a larger event (the highbies-- Persephone, Aelynthi, Rani, Olaf, Berendil-- had gone to the lair of the lich responsible to destroy it), so I don't have all of the details of their end, and don't have any logs/screenshots of the bovine detonation tactics. Just hoping that kicking up some details will get memory jogged.

That's a start. The only PCs I've "met" are Persephone and Biddle, so unless the others are going to be represented by whatever I invent, I need more visual info. Is there a library post about this event perchance?

I think Kaleb was the architect of the plan (dark cloaky blackhat type ranger rogue), Schisa Myx the monk and her speed were key to getting worm chasing about or something else time sensitive about exploding cow... I know I was certainly around and having a laugh about it with my PC Rhaggot, quite a few others there. Lot of years ago, wonder if anyone will have an old rumor post or screen, worth looking for.
EDIT (from 2011):
Ronan wrote:A well-dressed, bald gnome enters the Helm and Cloak. He sits down, orders some top-shelf whiskey, and smiles at a patron sitting next to him.
"Any news from the north? From Tempus's Tears", she asks.
"Aye, I saw quite a bit of it. Gather 'round, and I'll give you the chant on it..."
A few more patrons and the bartender come near, listening.
"Well I got there a bit late, after things had quieted down a bit and the Tempite lass was too weary and wounded to continue. The Iron Gauntlet was still there keeping vigil o' course, with the priestess Anchra leading them. There was another cutter there, a Rothar, priest of your Kelemvor.
Anyway, after a bit the deaders start attacking again, mostly shamblers an' skeletons. Wave after wave comes, the Fist, the Gauntlet and the Kelemvorite push them back each time. A few Fist bashers fall, an' get ushered into town for their wounds to be treated. Think they had a half-dozen get in the dead-book that day.
So after a bit some cutters notice the ground's a-shaking, botherin' all the deaders in the hills. A group goes out to have a look, and a bloody huge worm pops out of the ground. Tall as the tallest building you've got in this anthill it was, and as dead as the rest of the musties that day. The group gives it the laugh and runs back into town, all alive by my count.
The dwarfs say there's too much rock under the soil for the worm to come near, so its all safe and cozy for a bit. Some blood has the idea to strap explosives an' flammables to a cow, and feed it to the bloody worm. After a bit o' work they get it done, though none o' the berks want to be the ones to lead the cow out to the worm.
Eventually a dwarf volunteers for it, though soon after a barmy fleet-of-foot woman takes his place. She leads the sodding cow out, and sure as sure the worm gobbles it. Well it explodes all right, blowing bits of cow and dead worm everywhere, an' throwing burning oil all about. The sodding deader worm just sits there and burns for a bit 'fore going back underground.
Somehow the barmy lass gave the worm the laugh and made it back to town.
Worm wasn't quite dead then, so a big group goes out and finishes it off. After that, the deaders stopped comin'.
Way I figure it, if it wasn't for the Gauntlet and that barmy woman, the town would be lost. Aye the Fist did a fine job, but they didn't have the hands to hold the town alone."
At the other end of the bar sits a dwarf, his calloused hands and broad shoulders marking him as a smith - an odd sight in a bar full of nobles and rich merchants. Previously quiet, he sets his ale down with a loud thump, and heads turn towards him.
"Fookin' Banites? Yer the barmy one. Aye they helped, fookin' shame they all left alive, too. Nah, tha real heroes be the Fist, the Tempite Jendari, the Kelemvorite Rothar, an' the lady Scisha.
Dat Rothar? 'e stayed with us, gave us healin', tended ta the wounded. Save a'lotta lives, den stood up at the fore o' tha fights. Once I could nay see 'm through all tha sekelies surroundin' him, and them fookers are easy ta see through.
Yer barmy woman was Scisha. Saved me life, takin' the cow out 'nstead o' me. Ne'er seen no one run like her, fookin' know I'da been worm shite if I'da tried."
The patrons frown and offer looks of disguist as the dwarf speaks, who then adds:
"Wha? Ye ne'er drink witha common smith a'fore? Fook ye all, I jus' helped save a bloo'y town."
He then downs his ale and looks to where the gnome had sat, his stool now empty. Frowning and picking something from his beard, the dwarf hops down and heads for the door.

Kaleb -- thin lightly-armored human male, clean shaven, fair skin, preferring dark colors and typically wearing a hood. Short brown hair and a lithe build, typically fighting with a hand crossbow.
Schisa -- a muscular black-haired lightly tanned human woman who fights unarmed, wearing her hair pulled back, generally preferring fitted clothes and usually wearing blacks and dark grays.
Rhaggot -- a heavy half-orc whose features I don't recall, except that he carried a battleaxe and wore heavy armor/ a tower shield. And was a half-orc (sorry, my character never had to describe in much detail so I never learned; "it's the orc among those damn shyster mercenaries" was always sufficient).
I believe the worm was just a zombie purple worm?
// edit
Jendari -- dark shoulder-length hair, fair skin, human female. I'm at work or I'd rummage through Cloud's library postings for a screenshot or a portrait. I'm pretty sure one exists, as she and Trapper spent some quality time together.

Was awesome even just hearing about it.
I remember the tales saying it was a zombie purple worm...
Ronan might have more details, maybe Lokan too if he's still here somewhere.
I know about a tall cowardly warlock which was probably hiding at the back with a hood and light armor.
But there were more I think.
The planner was Kaleb, but who executed the genius plan?

Mick might remember if it was "mostly Scisha out there risking AoO running around like a maniac" (although I suppose fastmonk tumble is also pretty good)

Hully was there ... at like level 4 ... it was a while ago.
But the climax of this part of the fight was the appearance of an undead purple worm, a colossal doom tunneler. Biddle, ever the clever one and constantly experimenting with positive enegry magics was able to place a "delayed blast positive energy ball" on a local (unlucky) cow in Tempus' Tears. Said bovine volunteer was sent forth and consumed by the worm and .....
BOOM! ..Worm guts everywhere.
It was awesome

What did Hully look like back then? Ideally we'd give Twin Axes enough info that he could produce the scene.

A bald halfling in dark leathers with a shortbow over his shoulders and a small dagger up his sleeve.
