What should I back up from comp before Re-formatting comp

Hi all, in order to save me chewing my bottom rung of teeth off waiting for 18+ hours of downloads to happen, after I re-format my computer and attempt to play ALFA again after... are there certain files to copy over from my current computer state, onto a temporary external hard drive, for safe keeping, before I re-format... so then after the re-formatting, I can just put them back so I do not have to re-download them through the auto-downloader ALFA has set up?

Like tha "hak" folder or stuffz like that?

Any other suggestions?

For that matter, if anyone else has any other good advice for me before I do this, it would be much appreciated...
For instance one feller told me to, and I quote: "Don't ferget t'back-up yer drivers dumbass."

And thus, I shall.

Anything else?

Werd.
