I don't like Armagnac as a drink but I like it in deserts (croustade/pastis gascon http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pastis_gascon and pastis landais http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pastis_landais for the win ).

Edit: for those knowing French you'll read that they say there is rhum in Pastis Landais but this is a lie, near my hometown we put Armagnac in it.

Im talking about cassoulet de Toulouse. Surely any self respecting Toulousian eats this fine dish at least once per week.

Oh I love Cassoulet. But you can't eat some every week or you'll get huge.
