Is Skywing's Client causing this?

In recent times I've noticed that when you go to move your toon by clicking on a point on the ground it can go 4 feet in the opposite direction then sharply about face and go where it was told. Is this an issue with the Skywing client and is there anything you can do to improve its pathfinding?
Cheers

1. Yes, it is caused by the CE's attempts to predict pathfinding, which the base NWN2 client doesn't do. It's supposed to make things smoother overall, because it doesn't constantly wait for the server's response to render your character walking. If it glitches, it tends to guess the wrong direction and then snap you into a new place once the server finally responds.

2. Yes, nudge your character with drive mode (forces extra communication from the server and forces the CE to update your position and facing).

/mpredict toggles movement prediction. IMO its dangerous to play with it on in combat though with a DM avatar its just a preference thing. You can put /mpredict, as well as other CE commands, in a autocmds.txt in your NWN2 install directory to turn it off automatically. I think details are in the CE's readme file.

Has the scrying lag been fixed? Last I checked it hadn't but I haven't updated my CE in a month or three.

Scrying lag comes from missing resources on the server. BG -should- be fixed.

Thanks, I'll see if those suggestions help.
