Thinking about rolling up a new level 1 PC?

Post by dergon darkhelm »

Well, I just did and I'm hoping to convince some of you to do the same. I've had a conversations with a couple of you that makes me think you might be interested.

Tralyn Krast is currently aiding caravans on the Western Heartlands Server and trying his hand at adventuring. The whole of the server is new to me making it a fresh experience. But it's always more fun to have some other low levels to cut your teeth alongside.

So if you're one of the returning ALFAns with a first level or thinking about an a second PC, how about you come in.

(( ps- there's rumors floating around about a DMd game starting here too! ;) ))
PCs: NWN1: Trailyn "Wayfarer" Krast, Nashkel hayseed

WHL DMs are putting finishing touches on new plot ideas (that may bleed over into neighboring BG). WHL is definitely newbie friendly right now and about to kick things off.

Feel free to look at http://www.alandfaraway.org/phpBB3/view ... =3&t=49629 this thread if you're interested in DMage at level one in WHL.
First Character: Zyrus Meynolt, the serene Water Genasi berserker. "I am the embodiment of the oceans; serene until you summon the storm." Zyrus: http://tinyurl.com/9emdbnd

Second Character: Damien Collins, the atypical druid. "What? Being a stick in the mud is boring. No pun intended grins"

I'll be around sporadic EST evenings-nights (All always after 8PM and never much pass midnight) on weekdays and the occasional longer weekend.

While I suck when it comes to scheduled things do to a less then regular play schedule, I love to hop in and assist groups who are part of regular set things when I can.
Current PC: I'm not tellin'. They die when I put their names here.

Looking for a group of low levels to get together for some fun and RP next week.

Mrs_dergon heads out of town for a few days of business which leaves me Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (21st-23rd) evening wide open.

New DMs coming in on WHL, quality old ALFAns returning to roll-up level 1 PCs, beer & ALFA in my boxer shorts while the wife is away.... what's not to like?!

n00b PCs are awesome because:
  • Generally more DMin', because they are easier to DM.
  • More places to adventure that are actually challenging. Well once they get a few levels at least.
  • Rumples.
  • Hully and Rhaggot need the l00t (ok, not really).
