You are just seeing more stuff reported because (1) we have vastly improved logging and systems in place to catch bad behavior and (2) more of you are DMs with more forum access.
Compared to the rife cheating that went on in the earlier years anything you see here now is child's play. People knew how to cheat back then and they did it with style.
