It's a meaningless name. All the talent from Black Isle went elsewhere - mostly Obsidian Entertainment. Back in your cell, maxtroll.

Will do, boss. And thank goodness all talent in the world ended when the company broke up and no other artists ever developed in their own right apart from the original BI group!! whew!

Reviving the name of a studio renowned for something to evoke support among old fans is, in my opinion, a bait and switch when the people that made the company what it was have absolutely nothing to do with it.

Also, as far as it is known, they have nothing to do with the Baldurs Gate: Enhanced Edition. Trent Oster is the lead on that who, coincidentally, also worked on Baldurs Gate when it was originally made.
