A Land Far Away

Hi folks;

I became a DM on Moonshaes some weeks ago. Till now, I've been largely concentrating (along with CNS, kid, CD, etc) on fixing broken things, and we've been largely successful.

Now, I'd like to start running adventures. Surprisingly... I find there are few players on eastern US evenings! So I'd like that to change.

What do current or prospective MS players want? I assume DM presence. I'm announcing my willingness to DM players on eastern US evenings, from approx 8PM to midnight. I'll be around most nights, so if you want to play, log on, or send me a forum PM here, or hit me in chat.

I'm willing to help PCs accomplish in character goals, and I can always do that, but I'd like to start running adventures. So come... and I'll play with you!

There is a player group called 'The Eyes Of The Isles'. This might be a good place to co-ordinate and share information, maybe even indulge in a tiny spot of forum RP, for folks who wouldn't normally meet in game due to timezoning. MS is currently running a joined-up plot that multiple DMs are party to and if you, Riotnrrd, are planning to sing from the same hymn sheet then stuff your players do might influence things for the others, and vice versa; so the usefulness of the group for both IC and OOC co-ordination and intel sharing becomes pretty clear.

Of course this does assume that all players with access aren't secret evil types otherwise the potential for meta becomes unworkably high. (There are a million+1 landmines in that field but with so many DMs involved I'm sure it can be worked out if and when the time comes.)

Hully will eventually be back on the Isles of course. Will be happy to jump into anything in which he is welcomed --- or can stay on the sidelines .... either way is coolio with me.

Nope, all levels welcome It will be faster for lower levels to get involved, because there is less history to learn!

Horatio is in the Shae's currently.. Will likely be there for 3 weeks or more yet, possibly longer with brief trips home.
