Congratulations to Curmudgeon as the continuing DMA

Post by boombrakh »

Congratulations to you Curm,

I am glad to have run a fair election against you and lost. You posted a few interesting questions to me which I really enjoyed answering. I am glad that a vast majority of the community which were allowed to vote supports you, which means that the current direction is one that is the same one that they want to take as well.

I might not agree on a lot of things, but you are doing a good job. Keep it up, and we'll see eachother in six months again ;)
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

I was informed by Veilan, who thought this here was me withdrawing from the election, that the voting period isn't over yet.

Well, can I haz math plx? Apparantly I can't do simple math.

Oct 1 - Oct 7 = Nominations
Oct 8 - Oct 11 = Voting

That's my math. Somehow it's wrong :)

Regardless. I'm not bowing out, im preemptively congratulating Curm on keeping the DMA hat for another 6 months. :)

Voting started Sat Oct 08, 2011 6:12 pm.

Therefore, polls run until Wed Oct 12, 2011 6:12 pm. And at some point thereafter, an official winner will be declared.

Keep your pants on fellas 8).
