Howdy all! Long time, no see

Post by RangerDeWood »

I'm baaack. Sadly, I'm still stuck in the stone age of ALFA with the original NWN. I've noticed a lot of familiar faces on the facebook page, which was awesome! It's good to be back: it's been too long. How's the old guard doing?

Also, are there any original NWN servers still up and running? I'd love to just run around some of my old haunts until I get the cash to shell out for NWN2 and get back into game proper-like.

See you all around!

Hello, nice to see a familiar face!

Chances are someone here or there has old NWN1 servers on an FTP someplace, though not running under the ALFA banner.

NWN2 on Steam = $19.99 . . . old games go cheap!

awesome! now all i need to do is find a way to pay for it online, lol. i've become so disenchanted by banks for the time being. they just aren't a necessary evil in my life atm.

Welcome back!

I saw some random friend invite on facebook and was like "Who tf is this guy?" until I saw the mutual friends were all ALFAns :D

And yes, hook yourself up with the steam version of NWN2 while the sale lasts, you are unlikely to find the package cheaper.

Help! Help! ALFA's being inundated with old and new players alike!

We're so mainstream.

pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.
