Thangs and I were trying to find the button to locate party members from the player tools today, but we couldn't find it.

That disappeared awhile ago when the KEMO animations and VFX scabbards and such were added.

What does that KEMO stuff do? I know when I click inspect on another PC, some KEMO window with nothing in pops up.

There is the KEMO description thingy - if you "edit description" from your character options, it will update there and your examine page. You can also find a portrait to add to it so others can see it.
The animations are just a larger amount of animations (such as crossed arms, different sitting styles, etc). I think AL removed all the cyb0rz ones, but there you go.

The KEMO animations package that was added was the KEMO 'lite' package from the vault, which already had all the raunchier poses removed from it. The KEMO panel seems to have a bit of a bug in ALFA, where players have to save their profile each time they log in otherwise the portrait doesn't properly show for others.
