Our server goes live tonight at 12:01 AM EST (5 hrs 20 mins. from now)

First, a big thanks to the entire community, there are few here who did not build something on the module (areas, npcs, scripting, tech support, testing, etc.). I will be putting up an OOC sign in the start merchant area listing all our names. I won't mention any here, because I will leave someone out by accident.

Second, because of a few tech issues, we will not be on the live vault right away. What this means: For now, only new PCs can start in Moonshaes. Let me be clear, this is a new ALFA PC (e.g. your old one will eitehr retire or you didn't have one to begin with), and will be moved over to the vault once we are connected. We expect vault connectivity shortly.

Third, a short server description can be found in the 009 Server forum , so you can get the background of the region etc.

Fourth, please have fun!

Quick question, will both TSM and BG have portals to The Moonshaes, or is that undecided yet?

I think both, BG for sure, and TSM could portal via a fictitious Waterdeep stopover.

ElF invasion

So how does one get to the Isles from our current servers? Is any portal set up, or will any travelers require DM validation on logging in there?

Ok we are holding off for approx. 1 day to make sure PCs can actually be moved over to the vault or to get us connected shortly to the vault to remove the issue. Sorry for the delay. Hopefully this will resolve by tomorrow.

Mick, pls see initial post, the server is not available for portaling yet. You can make a new PC on the server, but I am told it will later have to be moved over to the live vault. This would mean retirement, which I do not advocate for anyone, better to wait a couple days.
