Handing over the reigns
Looking for a volunteer to step forward and take the HDM position of Baldur's Gate. I find lately that I am a bit lacking in time, energy and patience to keep the server going and I feel it is best if I hand the project over to someone more capable than I. I will still be donating my time to the project, but I think it better for the server if a new lead steps forward. If any are interested, please PM me.

<Castano>: danielnm - can you blame them?
<danielmn>: Yes,
<danielmn>: Easily.

Re: Handing over the reigns
Thank you, Dan, for your DMing, your building, your item tooling, and your playing. They have all contributed mightily to what ALFA is and has been. You can set down those reins secure in the knowledge that you have done your part. I hope that you find the refreshment in playing in ALFA that you have given to so many.
Enjoy the game

Thanks for your time, Daniel. I think you volunteered to be HDM for BG in critical time, and maybe you even saved the server.
Good thing you'll continue to stick around and contribute.

Re: Handing over the reigns
I sympathize a bit, I do feel like since Easter Break and all that crazy stuff, i've been run over by the Dm truck and laid flat as a pancake on TSM. And suddenly BAM BG is full of wonderfully cuddly/prickly players with lots of demands and such.
As far as me as a PC, Dan, you have been responding wonderfully. There is nothing like putting up with nine screens of "whine" in IRC when you log on. Heh, nothing like it. Well except 25 yelly cranky kids trapped inside on a rainy day, but anyways.
I just want to say no matter is EVER so pressing for us that we can't wait for YOU. Glad you are'nt throwing out the whole thing and just moving into a lower gear.
I just wonder, who is going to step up? Most of the people that could have a PC on Baldur's Gate.

Very cool of you to take over when our last DM left, lot of hours went in to fixing those empty spawns and wrecked stores. Thanks again

You had a hell of a run Dan, and considering the work load of you had on your plate....I am honestly surprised your head did not explode from frustration. Thanks for all your effort, and thank you for not having you head explode.
