ways to buy NWN2 online or replace CDs?

Hi all,

I have been drifting in and out of ALFA for a few years now, originally for a few months as a player in ALFA1 then again on the Silver Marches last year in the new incarnation; in fact I even DMd there but was cut short due to school and hardware difficulties. Those same difficulties in the end completely wrecked my machine, making it impossible for me to return even as a player until now. Well, now the computer is fixed but I only have one CD of the software here, the rest are at home in Scotland. I would like to play again but it is impossible to buy the cds over here and I cant find the game for sale on D2D or Steam. Anybody have any suggestions?

And do you still have the cd-keys? I.e. Register them on bioware or atari website?

I had thought of that, but shipping to Turkey is really unreliable. I might not get it at all, or it might show up in 6 months... Sadly I didn't reg the keys, never thought I would need to! Well I will be this time.

I believe the Atari website has a store which allows direct download. At least they did for the expansions.

If you have the registration numbers (either from a backup of the nwncdkey.ini file or from someone emailing/reading them to you over the phone) and depending on the specifics of the local copyright laws, you could opt to download an uncracked pirated copy and then registering it with the real codes.

There's always a certain security risk going this route, but it might not be illegal in Turkey. Use at your own risk though.

Thanks for the feedback, after much searching I found copies available for download at Best Buy; price isn't great but it seems like the best option. If it works, I'll start downloading tonight or tomorrow, if not I will just wait for a few months and restart when I get back to London.

I did consider dling a torrent, but I've got this machine completely reworked and don't want to risk viruses etc.

Finally its great to recieve a warm welcome back, and I'm really hoping to see you guys soon in game. As for DMing, it may be a possibility in the future but for now I want to see how playing works out with this machine - last time trying to DM was unbelievably frustrating for me and the players after myriad crashes and other hardware/software difficulties which caused us all a lot of problems...

Check the Us site. That's where I managed to get one of my expansions from, after screaming a lot at the UK one.
