Worldgate has been updated and put on a new, much faster host.

This is for nwn2, nwn1 has not yet been updated.

All current users of worldgate, delete your current profile in the worldgate client (just pick ALFA and click delete), and then follow the instructions on the download page: http://www.alandfaraway.org/node/880

NOTE: Make sure you are running the latest version of worldgate (version 1.8 )

If you are not currently using worldgate, you are strongly adviced to do so.

Worldgate now has NEW haks, that you will need to play on TSM, so go get up to date!

The DNS was switched just a minute ago. You probably tried exactly when it happened. Also, ran into some issues with the data, so reuploading. I think your client will just tell you it's up to date.

Be sure to update to version 1.8 of WorldGate as well. This made the difference.

Some perspective for folks: Few realize that getting this stuff up and keeping it running is usually a full time job that pays 80K a year. Zic is volunteering the hardware and the time.

Yes. I was just thanking Zic on chat, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to thank him more than once. It's greatly appreciated. Also, Acadius does a tremendous amount as well, and I doubt we'd have much of anything going in NWN2 if it weren't for him. Thank you to both of you guys.

Ran into some issues. Basically, the ammount of files this thing creates (close to 6000) is a bit much for certain ftp servers to handle, so working on a different approach. Please hang tight while i work this out.
