we have some rules changes that are either "shelved" do to the two elections or have been rejected by Admin. (Some firm feedback on the status of these would be nice, please and thank you.)
1. >Multiple PCs rule change to facilitate campaign and ad-hoc play
2. >Campaign character level advancement rule change
3. >DM / Player status change to include Playing on a server you DM on
I'd like to discuss how to get NWN1 "jumping" again.
So of those 3 rules how would they affect growth in NWN1?
1. I think we would see more active playing on non-campaign nights if the campaign players could have a secondary PC to play with. (Maybe increase visibility of players will create a domino effect.) However more DM coverage or static quests would be needed as well.
2. This would only help to keep campaigns from "dying out" do to player attrition, character deaths for higher level campaigns. (So no major impact on overall activity...but I still support it

3. This could potentially increase DM coverage and at the same time increase players roaming ability (I don't care because I only DM, the risk her would be impropriety and may not be worth the small increase...only a few players would step up to DM, and only a few DMs would then play where they DM not a major impact)
what other things might effect nwn1 activity...
More DMs?
More Static Quests?
More events posted to NWConnections?
More campaigns?
A new base module that includes the most cutting edge NWN1 content like WyRms tilesets?
A wonderful Global Plot that would need old players to return to get involved?
