Seriously, I like you Zic. You're a pretty cool guy whenever I have dealt with you, but I have seen you act like a real jerk.
When things are all good, they're all good. But when someone pisses you off, acts like an idiot, or whatever they do that you don't agree with, you get nastier than anyone else I have seen in this community.

Of COURSE some people are going to disagree with you, your actions, and your seat as IA. That doesn't mean there's some conspiracy to sling mud on Zicada's good name. You rubbed the mud on yourself and now you're throwing punches when people point out that you got it on.
I know that some folks are operating under the conception that you got that IA warning and not a strike (for what was TOTALLY a strikeworthy offense) because Paazin didn't want to offend you and take a chance that you might (again) take our infrastructure hostage. Some believe that Paazin might have even said something to that point in "private" conversation with someone.
I don't know what Paazin's reasoning was. Maybe he honestly thought all you needed was a warning
He sure didn't take the time to explain why something that was utterly strikeworthy only warranted a warning in that case. Certainly wasn't the first time you shot your mouth off at someone.
Anyway, I guess the point is, you have shown a pattern of vicious and spiteful behavior and I'm sure you have your defenses for all of it, why you were justified, why so and so was an idiot, whatever. Me, I don't particularly care. You've always been pretty cordial with me and you like some good music and we can have some good conversations. But others see that and wonder what it means that the community was happy to put you in a leadership position and what that means for them and the direction of the community.
On the other hand, they're just discussing what they are thinking and what they might want to do about it behind closed doors because they aren't exactly keen on spouting off their drama to all of ALFA (unlike Zicada, the Infra Admin who tries to call them out, rants, then locks the post). Of course they are talking to people, individually, because amongst community members, we have some people we kind of think of as 'friends'. And what is said in private here is spread as rumor in public there.
Some people believe that change won't come in ALFA even if it means the boat sinks. They may or may not be right, but I, personally, see why they think that. So now they have to decide what they want to do about it.
And Kest, yes, what you say in private is strikable if it's said on ALFA Forums or Chat. You may scoff and think it's ridiculous but otherwise there is no way to stop Joe from spamming John with hateful letters of hate. And Joe should not be allowed to spam ANYONE with hateful letters of hate.
