NWN1 HotU installation question
I'm trying to install NWN1/HotU to a G: drive, rather than the default C: drive. I successfully installed NWN1 on the G drive. But when I insert the HotU disc it apprently automatically searches for NWN on C drive; of course it doesn't find it, and then aborts the installation, telling me I need to install NWN first. How do I point the HotU disc's installation to G:\Program Files\Atari\NWN? Tnx in advance.

Re: NWN1 HotU installation question
Try creating the default directory on the C: drive, put NWN.INI in it and have that point to the right place:
Or something like that. Rather inelegant, but it beats the alternative. Because if that doesn't work, then it sounds like a job for... regedit.exe! Run it, and seach for any references to NWN. Don't change anything unless you think you know what you're doing! Look for driveless pathnames and change those to point to the proper place.NWN.INI wrote:[Alias]

Re: NWN1 HotU installation question
Might be an issue with the version of HotU you have. Are you using the gold or platinum version perchance?
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind
