A Hunt Through The Dark

Post by Lusipher »

New remastered mod done just came out.

Did you ever want to play the dark side? How about being one of the most evil, dreaded, despised creatures of Faerun? How about being a drow?

Find out in this roleplaying module.

A Hunt through the Dark Remastered is a conversion of my Hall of Fame series for NWN1. I took some freedom to change some elements and the storyline to create a more exciting, thrilling experience based on the new drow novels of the "War of the Spiderqueen" and "Lady Petinent" series. This means, the classic A Hunt through the Dark series is cut with the end of chapter 3 and a new storyline unfolds in chapter 4.

A Hunt through the Dark Remastered is the first part of a trilogy covering the time and events of Lolth's silence.

You can find links to background literature at our homepage at

Version 0.92 build 4 is a public beta version. It includes the full storyline as well as all dialogue options and game elements. We are still working at the balancing and the dialogues. Since there are no drider models available for NWN2 we are using spider models as placeholders.
Currently Playing: World of Warcraft.

Hell yes. I pretty much bought NWN Diamond a while back just so I could play through this again.

Hopefully there is more storyline in the NWN2 version than the previous one.

I loved that mod in NWN1. I'm still playing Adam Miller's awesome mod in NWN2.

Shouldn't have to worry if it's the mage I think you are referring to...

Hmm, forgot to update.

This is shorter than the NWN1 series, and more linear... but it is very detailed. It has better writing, nicer areas, and is less combat-intensive than the original.

Seeing the environments done in this has me interested in what might be on Skullport, and hoping the community works up enough energy to release more modules of this quality.

Here is the author's next project: http://www.schlegels.de/lc/seite1.htm

I'm glad he's not 'remastering' his NWN1 Myth Drannor module - that was terribly uninteresting, especially since all character growth was thrown aside.
