Turning Undead bug/issue/question

Post by dergon darkhelm »

So I've turned undead a few times now and noticed a couple of things.

I don't know if they are TSM specific so I figured I would post here.

1 - # of HD expended to turn a creature seems to be calcualted to require nearly twice the amount of HD needed.

I can't find my damn combat logs for this thing so I'll paraphrase about what it looked it
Rathalan Whitsword turns undead
Max HD creature turned: 6
Total number of HD turned: 17
Rathalan Whitsword turns skeleton, warrior (CR 0.7) ; number of HD used 2, 15 remaining, destroyed
Rathalan Whitsword turns skeleton, bladeswinger (CR 1.4); number HD used 3, 12 remaining, destroyed
This also brings up point #2 --- I am not a fan of hidden creature names but *if* ALFA still wants creature names to be hidden then the clerical turning ability unstrips that masking of names of undead.

Point #3: Eagle's Splendor and Turning

When the cleric casts it the quickslot shows an increase in number of available turn attempts by 2 but the the engine doesn't actually give you tow more.

I went from 4 to 6 turn attempts and after using 4 my quickslot showed 2 remainging but when trying to use the other 2 I got a "you have used all of that ability for the day" message.
