Congratulations to Spider Jones, our new DM Admin

Post by paazin »

After a great amount of thought, I have decided to select Spider Jones for the position of ALFA's Dungeon Master Administrator.

This decision was not easy - both candidates have solid backgrounds and both would likely make fine DMAs, stepping up to the challenges we are currently facing as we reform ALFA.

In the end, I feel that the current environment favors Spider Jones' candidacy; his encyclopedic knowledge of setting and ruleset will be valuable for reviewing our set standards and DM requirements, keeping them in line with the spirit of ALFA and PnP.

Again, I wish to thank all the candidates involved in the election and I hope we can press on from this to our current business; we've much to do and now with full Admin team, we can take on those challenges awaiting us.

Congrats to you Spidar.. Tough decision Paaz but you couldnt really have gone too wrong, both worthy candidates..

Good on you everyone else that put their hand up and ran for an admin spot. Its a credit to you that you want to give up a chunk of your free time to serve the community..

In agreement with Darren and Thangorn above, I believe both candidates were well qualified for the DMA post. I have to say, the current batch of Admin seems quite the "dream team"; stacked with good, reasonable people who are all about getting the job done. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish as a community in the next few months.

Congratulations to Spider, and thanks to Jaydemoon as well.

I add my admiration and congratulations to all involved. Well done to both final candidates for a reasoned and dignified race, and exceedingly well done to Paaz, for doing his job of making the call without fuss or delay.
Enjoy the game

It's a big job, and I'm certain that Spiderjones is up to the task.

Congratz on taking it and I look forward to seeing what you have in store!

I'm wondering if we should have used a dice roll or cage match instead. A straight d20 would kinda be in the spirit of the game. Oh well.

Congrats to the arachnid. Definitely a tough call between the candidates. Well done Paaz.
