Call for Election halt

Due to a simple oversite, and that is all it is, several PADM's specifically NWN2 PADM's, were not promoted to ADM, therefore they were not able to vote.
I call for an immediate stop of the voting process and restart with a clean slate.
Whether or not you feel that 3 or 4 additional votes will count, it is important that the process be FAIR. NWN2 views needs to be shown.
Therefore, I demand an election recall to include the additional PADM's that were intended to be made ADM's.

As much as I support your right to have a vote, and the 2 or 3 other people who would also get a vote, this has been part of the rules for a very long time. When an election was approaching would have been a significantly more appropriate time to raise this issue, not now when the voting is already in motion.
Besides, paazin is clearly in the lead here and at the moment, short in a drastic change in the pattern of voting, 2 or 3 votes will not alter the course of the election, so I judge this drama unnecessary.

Otherwise, any Admin who had not yet appointed all of their allocated Staff members could halt the process and demand a revote, saying they'd meant to fill the empty slots beforehand.
I realize this is frustrating for you, Rick, but I don't believe this is productive. With the voting currently at 9-0, it is extremely unlikely that the four additional votes would affect the outcome of the election, regardless.

We won't be halting the election. PADMship should have/could have been cleared up in time to get on the rolls. Once an election has started the rolls don't change.

I don't think we should stop the election either; it hardly matters in terms of the result but there is a philosophical point here.
That said, what happened to posting eligible lists of voters before election starts to see if there is an issue? I seem to recall that at least at one point...
It's obviously not been done for awhile so thats not blaming anyone, but I think maybe we should do that going forward again...

The
thread exists, but does not include a list of ADMs eligible to vote for LA.

Besides it's not as if Rusty has been present in any visible form for what, 2 weeks, so it's not like he'd get around to doing something like giving full ADM status to people who have been DMs before.

And btw Rick, I think you shouldn't have gotten your vote, but it's over and done with. I never expected to win, though until I realized just how many of my supporters couldn't vote, I had hopes for a somewhat closer race, but that's life, and honestly, paazin will probably do better at the job then me, because I would have tried to block Rusty out of everything.
Hopefully, and I think he will, he will listen to the many voices who didn't have a vote this time around.
