I havent been able to play for quite awhile. The last time I could play Daggerford was still up. I just got a new video card and got NWN1 reinstalled. Which NWN1 server would be good to play on as a good cleric?
And where are the haks for NWN1? The download section says those are for NWN2.

Shadowdale, Sembia, NC, and Moonshaes are still up. Can't speak to how active they are.
Grats on the hardware. Be sure to come back when you get the blackscreen trying to load nwn1, we'll try to get you fixed up.

Welcome back!

NWN1 ALFA Haks.
I cannot speak for the other NWN1 servers, I am only involved with Northern Cormyr at the moment. They have a regular group playing on Mondays, and I will be running games on NC on Wednesdays, FanticusIns(something latin)... FI for short, runs a game on Thursdays.
So I think you would find some pretty reasonable activity on NC.

I still see numbers on NC/SD/Sembia about as often. The SD noob sessions are Tuesdays, usually (I'd double-check with Jayde on that, though; character death and NWN2 have thinned the ranks of SD's newbies.) and non-noob sessions on Friday/Sunday (not reccomended if you're rolling up a new character).
I'm pretty sure that Arkan is keeping a 1/week sesson on Euro time on Sembia (wednesdays, I think?), Electryc has his sessions on Sunday there, and I'm fairly certain that Jayde ad hocs stuff on Fridays there.

I would not attempt SD at this point, low level players have turned into 0-1 in the last month. Check with Jayde, but I am pretty sure this group is non-exsistant now, unless you don't mind a 1 person session 1 night a week.

NC has 3 active DMs at the moment (Chamu will be DMing again in two months or so though). Average lvl is pretty high, but FI has said more than once that she can include new PCs in her campaign, since we don't go fightig epic battles every session. If as daniel says, low lvl nights in SD are out, I guess pick by DM matching.

I think Rhekka still owes Carrion about 200 coins... hmm... I hope there's no interest on that... please feel free to jump her in arabel and pummel her until you get it out of her grubby no-good hands.

It'd be great to see an old face from the deep again if your sig's still correct!

Still playing Carrion then? I think he set off half a dozen of Nawiel's traps back in DF when we were holding the South Fort.

In all honesty bro...
NWN1 is no longer a place for low levels. You'd do better ramping up and latching on to NWN2, lots of low level action there.
If you are returning with an old PC that is 5-6+ levels, I'd shoot NC or possibly SD for a good cleric...don't know how much call there is for good in Sembia these days...
Hope you find something that suits!

Yes, Carrion is still alive and kicking. Hashing over in my head why he hasnt been seen for some time. Will be fun to get back in game with him soon. Good to know that there is a pc he will recognize, Senor T. Thanks for all the warnings about low level but I wont be playing low level. just the pc that I was playing when I had to stop for awhile.

I have to disagree with you there. We have a new player in my player group on Sembia, he's doing just fine. It's all about playing matchmaker between your PC concept and the available DMs.
I think in NWN1 you need to be more proactive if you're a level one, but it's not anymore difficult to survive than it ever was.

Find a DM who is available when you are and whose style/campaign you mesh with.

Don't solo.

I think Fi is probably correct...I tend not to match myself well when playing, so you might try it out.
