I just reinstalled NWN2 + MOTB in order to try and get YATT plugin working (it didn't). Now when I try to log onto TSM, it says my CD key is not authorised. Aussie and Kiwi DM session is tomorrow!
PLEASE HELP!!!

Can you log on to GameSpy? What about connecting to the server directly, does that work? Did you save your old .INI files?

Both NWN2 and MOTB Keys are authorised on the bioware site. I did notice that it did not require me to input my MOTB key during the reinstall

Does it need to be? It's the same key, isn't it?

Right, Tech-nerd 07 to the rescue!
1. Open windows explorer.
2. Find the Neverwinter Nights 2 game install folder.
3. In the folder, locate the file nwncdkey.ini
4. Open the file in Notepad
5. The file should look like this:
Code: Select all
[CDKEY]
Key1=YOUR-CODE-FORX-NWN2-RIGHT-HERE
Key2=YOUR-CODE-FORX-MOTB-HERE
I suspect yours look like this:
Code: Select all
[CDKEY]
Key1=YOUR-CODE-FORX-NWN2-RIGHT-HERE
If this is the case, just add the line Key2 with the proper code and you should be sweet.
