The beginning is near! After untold manhours of theorizing and polling and building and scripting and testing...we have set a target date for ALFA Live NWN2.

At this time, with the NWN2 Team discussing it right now in #alfa-builders, it is our intent to shoot for an April 1 date for OAS2 Live and 003 Beta 3, to be followed by an April 15 Live date for 003 The Silver Marches.

I'd like to congratulate all the people who worked so incredibly hard to get us within cooee of this goal. Of note, I'd like to single out Acadius Lost, who has worked every day to make ALFA a better place. Of course, there's still work to do, and lots of it. We need people who can fill all kinds of roles, from creating mundane items to finishing interiors to helping out AL and Cipher with any scripting they can delegate. Do you want to be playing on a Live ALFA server in 32 days? Then post here with your offer to help. It will be greatly appreciated, and very soon, it will be part of our Live NWN2 ALFA.

I do not like this release date.

I will be in Asia at that time and thus away from my computer for almost 2 months after the server goes live. And then I'll be a 1st level character and half the players will already be on level 6!
