WorldGate error

Post by Leevoth »

Something seems to be wrong with my WorldGate program. Every time I try to do something with it, an error pops up. Here's the first bit of it, and I have no idea what it means. Can anyone help?

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

This is using the Worldgate client, v1.5.1 ? Have you tried reinstalling it, and testing again? I've not seen it throw that sort of error before, but my experience is limited to windows XP SP2 installs running it. Are you using Vista or another OS?

You may want to look into what version of .NET you have installed on your machine, too. Perhaps you have an outdated version.

Also, for what it's worth, I've been using client version 1.5 (not 1.5.1) and have had zero issues with it, so that might be another possibility.

Hmm, ok, I'm using version 1.5.1, and I'm using Xp Professional.

I will try to reinstall, and see what happens. I don't know what .NET is though. How can I find out what version I have?

Thanks a lot for the help.

DOH! I deleted some of the necessary files to run WorldGate. Hence it wasn't working.

Anyway, seems to be fine now. Thanks again!
