A Land Far Away

Daggerdale has been taken offline permanently. Thank you to all the players and DMs through the years that made the server such a grand place to be.

It was a good ride. Had fun as a player and then as a DM. Thanks for Miz, Twiggy, BB and Squams for the good times. Thanks a lot to all the players that made it a good experience with and without the wand. Lots of names to put here, but you all know who you are. Thank you.

Gonna miss DD - thanks for all the good times guys - both players and DMs!

Thanks to all for the formation of one of my more memorable characters...had a blast with both dms and other players on DD.

DD was the server I started playing in alfa on. It's the server where I broke the most rules as you do in the beginning and where I died the most times. Think I had some 100 PC's who died there, a few even got a tombstone in the graveyard (raises a toast the good old Axel Greymantle). Has a place in my memory, even though I havent set foot there for almost two years.

Had a lot of fun, lots of good memories, learned a lot about building and DMing generally as well. Good run!

I had so much fun on DD, so many moons ago. Thank you to Squam, Twigs and the whole DM crew, as well as to the players who have consistently made it one of the best-peopled lands in the Realms.

Same here. Good memories from those old days, when I first joined.

Not many people who played here who didn't spend at least some time there. Was a good run, worth the effort. Thank you.

Oh Im gonna miss DD, as for many it was the first server I played on and the last server I played on.

Goodbye Daggerdale. Thank you to Memneth for first bringing her to life here. To Esiovm whom brought great quests to any who sought adventure there, and to Squams and Twigs who kept her alive as a refuge for many players still seeking adventure.

I had hoped the first councilor of Daggerdale would be able to make one last trip there, but alas for the server not lasting as long as he.

It was where my first character died, and my second one was born. Now Durgan can never return home again. Run free in the Elysian Fields, Daggerdale. Keep the Dell safe!
